A Superintendência da Portos RS divulgou, na sexta-feira, 25, os resultados do primeiro bimestre de movimentações em 2022. Os dados levam em consideração as operações realizadas nos portos do Rio Grande, Pelotas e Porto Alegre, além dos terminais existentes no complexo portuário da Cidade do Rio Grande.

 

Esse foi considerado como o melhor primeiro bimestre da história do porto do Rio Grande, com 6.233.998 toneladas. Até então, 2018 vinha sendo o ano com o melhor primeiro bimestre, quando haviam sido registradas 5.125.683 toneladas. Em relação aos contêineres, foram movimentados 79.521 unidades entre cheios e vazios.

 

Os destaques ficaram com a soja e o trigo que aumentaram, respectivamente, 395.95% e 139% em relação ao mesmo período do ano passado. Na sequência está o cloreto de potássio, que variou positivamente em 134.59% e o arroz que praticamente dobrou a sua movimentação, com variação de 99.89%.

 

Os destinos das cargas exportadas pelo Porto do Rio Grande são a China (19.08%), a Arábia Saudita (8.53%), a Indonésia (6.68%), Marrocos (5.72%), o Vietnã (4.89%) e Portugal (4.35%). Já as importações ocorrem da Argentina (9.60%), Lituânia (8.94%), Estados Unidos (8.53%), Alemanha (7.73%), Rússia (6.90%) e China (6.75%).

 

Quanto ao Porto de Pelotas, as movimentações atingiram 208.285 toneladas, representando um aumento de 13.50%. As embarcações que atracaram no cais, localizado às margens do Canal São Gonçalo, carregaram 154.155 toneladas de toras de madeira e outras 54.130 toneladas de clínquer, material utilizado como matéria-prima para fabricação de cimento.

 

Já o Porto de Porto Alegre atingiu a marca de 96.651 toneladas movimentadas, com destaque para os fertilizantes que nos dois primeiros meses do ano alcançaram 66.880 toneladas. A lista é puxada pela Cevada, com 19.852 toneladas, outros carregamentos, que juntos somaram a quantia de 6.240 toneladas, e o trigo, com 3.679 toneladas movimentadas.
